Galway camogie captain Sarah Dervan was happy to have seen her team book an All-Ireland senior camogie semi-final place after their comfortable 0-20 to 0-4 victory in Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Saturday (4th August).
Dervan and her full back line (Shauna Healy and Tara Kenny) had to be alert throughout as Dublin threatened goals but they held firm allowing their attackers get the important scores the other end.

The Mullagh defender, who was also Liberty Insurance Player of the Match, said “they weathered their (Dublin’s) storm” before driving on and said there was plenty to work on ahead of their third meeting this season with Kilkenny. She chatted to Galway Daily afterwards.
