The M18 southbound will be closed nightly from Monday to Wednesday this week for maintenance roadworks on the motorway.
Work is being carried out on the M18 southbound carriageway between Junction 18 (Rathmorrissey) and Junction 16 (Gort) over the coming weeks.
To facilitate these works, the motorway will be closed nightly from 20:00 to 06:00. The closure points will be staffed throughout the duration of the works to allow access for emergency services if required.
The work this week will be taking place between Junction 18 (Rathmorrissey) to Junction 17 (Kiltiernan).
Diversion routes will be in place via the the M6 and the old N18.
