A one day road closure for a street in Tuam town centre will be in place this weekend while the council is carrying out work in the area.
Bishop Street, Tuam will be closed to vehicles on Sunday, June 20 to allow the removal of ESB poles.
The period of the road closure is expected to be from 6am to 4pm on Sunday.
Diversions will be in place for the duration of the works. Pedestrian access will be maintained on the northern side of the street.
This is the last stage of the undergrounding of the ESB network on Bishop Street that was funded under the Town and Village renewal Scheme.
