Galway Daily news New access roads needed at Roscam Estates to combat heavy traffic

Traffic is very heavy around the City this evening.

The AA have warned that there are delays both ways over Quincentenary Bridge – the eastbound queue continues on to Sean Mulvoy Road and then on to the Dublin Road as far as GMIT.

College Road and Lought Atalia Road are very busy outbound heading in the direction of Moneenageisha. Further along, it’s very slow on Wellpark Road both ways between Moneenageisha and the Monivea Road junction.

Traffic is heavy on Bohermore outbound as far as Cemetery Cross. The Tuam Road is then heavy inbound from before Bothar na dTreabh through to the same junction.

There are eastbound delays on Bothar na dTreabh approaching Briarhill and westbound delays approaching the Kirwan Roundabout.

The Heaford Road is quite busy inbound from the Kirwan Roundabout through to University Road.
