The Department of Health has reported 825 new cases of Covid-19 today, spread across 25 counties in the state.
One more death related to the illness was also reported by health officials this evening.
Dublin has the most new cases (254), while there were 147 cases in Cork, 39 in Cavan, 38 in Donegal and 37 in Kildare.
There are 27 new cases in Galway, and the remaining 283 cases are spread across 19 other counties.
Of the cases reported today, 78% are under 45 years of age and the median age is 30 years old.
