Coronavirus: 1 death and 3 cases in the Republic

One further COVID-19 related death was confirmed in today’s update from the Department of Health.

The total number of COVID-19 deaths in the Republic now stands at 1,735.

Three more cases were also confirmed today, taking the total number of positive test results in the country to  25,439.

The figure of 25,439 confirmed cases reflects the denotification of one case.

The HSE says it is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.
