People living in the areas of Barna and Moycullen may be experiencing water outages for the second day in a row due to a burst mains.
Irish Water has said that repairs are currently underway on the mains, and are expected to be completed by 5pm today.
This is the second day in a row where people living in these areas outside Galway city have been dealing with water outages, with Knocknacarra also affected by the same burst mains yesterday.
People affected by this are advised that it may take 2 – 3 hours after work is completed for their full water supply to be restored.
