Galway Daily weather Sunny spells bookened by showers this weekend

Met Éireann says this weekend will bring a mixture of sunny spells, showers and clouds, with the best of the sunshine expected tomorrow (Saturday).

Today will be cool and breezy, with sunny spells and some scattered showers in places which will become isolated as the day goes on.

It will become cloudier by evening with the chance of some rain before it becomes dark.

The highest temperatures will be between 11 to 14 celsius in fresh northwest breezes.

Sunny Saturday

Saturday will see beautiful sunshine and blue skies across most of Galway. It will be cool though, with the highest temperature around 14 degrees in moderate northeast breezes. It also looks set to be dry and mostly clear on Saturday night.

Sunday is expected to be mostly dry, but it will become cloudy in the West as the day goes on and there could be some scattered patches of rain. It will be even cooler than Friday and Saturday, with highest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees.

Met Éireann says that the current indications suggest a band of persistent rain will extend across the country on Monday, clearing to sunny spells and isolated showers following from the northwest later on.
