Twelve months on from leading his county to the All-Ireland under 16 title, Kieran Collins worked the oracle again on Sunday, 15th July as Galway were crowned 2018 All-Ireland Minor Ladies Football champions.
Andrea Trill struck a hat-trick; Aoife Thompson and Kate Geraghty were among the goal scorers; and captain Lynsey Noone was also player of the match in the 5-7 to 2-15 victory over Cork in the Gaelic Grounds, Limerick.
Afterwards, Collins joined Galway Daily for a chat describing the hour he just witnessed as “a fantastic match.”
