Repair works have been completed to a burst water mains in Salthill this morning after outages throughout Wednesday.
A burst water main was reported in the San Antonio area of Salthill shortly before 10am on Wednesday morning, affecting the surrounding area.
Irish Water originally estimated that repairs would be completed by 3pm on Wednesday, October 6, however the outage persisted overnight.
In an update at 10:38am today, Irish Water said that “Works are now complete and supply should have returned to all affected areas”.
Further interruptions to the water supply in San Antonio and surrounding parts of Salthill are expected tomorrow due to scheduled works.
Hydrant Installation works, and a reservoir interruption, may cause outages from 11:30am to 3:30pm on Friday, October 8.
