University Hospital Galway most overcrowded in State today

University Hospital Galway is again the most overcrowded hospital in the State today, with 41 people waiting on trolleys.

Over 11% of the total number of people on trolleys across the state are in UHG today.

On Wednesday, there were 57 people waiting for care at the hospital, according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.

Today, there are 397 people on trolleys in Irish hospitals.

Limerick and Cork University hospitals have 38 and 29 people waiting on trolleys respectively.
