Plans for 405 student accommodation beds held up

Plans for a large student accommodation development in Galway city have been delayed by An Bord Pleanála.

Exeter Ireland Property III Limited lodged preliminary plans for a student accommodation with 405 bed spaces at Cúirt na Coiribe on the Headford road back in July.

The new construction would be close by an existing large supply of student accommodation.

A ruling was issued by An Bord Pleanála on September 13 that the plans require “further consideration/amendment” by the developer.
