One person has been hospitalised and is in serious condition following a three car crash which occurred in the Corrandulla area last night.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a crash on the N84 at Grange, Corrandulla at approximately 9pm last night.
Two vehicles collided at the junction of the road, causing one to veer off path and hit a third vehicle.
The driver of one car, a male, was taken to University Hospital Galway, where his condition is described as critical.
The road is currently closed while Garda Forensic Collision Investigators carry out a technical examination of the scene.
Local diversions are in place, and Gardaí say investigations are ongoing.
