The M6 has reopened eastbound between J14 Ballinasloe East and J13 Athlone West following the removal of an overturned truck.
The collision occurred at around 7 this morning.
It is understood that the driver has not sustained serious injuries in the incident.
Elsewhere, traffic is very slow in both directions on the N84 between Clonboo and Corrandulla due to ongoing roadworks.
There are also delays both ways on the N59, on the Clifden side of Maam Cross, due to ongoing works.
