Traffic disruption is expected for people travelling on the N84 this week while four days of roadworks take place.
Galway County Council is carrying out resurfacing overlay works at two locations in the N84 Headford to Shrule Road.
Works are schedule to take place from Tuesday, October 27 through to Friday, Ocotber 30.
No HGV traffic will be allowed while work is taking place, and the road will also be closed at times when necessary.
A stop and go traffic management system will be in place from 9am to 5pm while roadworks are underway.
Motorists should expect delays and are advised to use alternative routes where possible.
Local access and emergency service access will be maintained throughout the works.
