There have been a further 8,126 cases of COVID-19 from antigen and pcr tests reported by health officials today.
The Health Protection Surveillance Centre has notified 4,731 PCR-confirmed cases. a
A further 3,395 people have registered a positive antigen test through the HSE portal.
As of this morning there are 845 people in the country hospitalised with COVID.
Of these patients, 79 are being treated in intensive care units.
