Clifden water outages to continue until Monday

Water outages in the Clifden area are expected to persist until Monday due to a burst water main.

A broken pipe causing supply disruptions in Clifden was first reported by Irish Water shortly before 3pm this afternoon.

Repairs works currently have an estimated time of completion of 9am on Monday morning.

People who experiencing a water outage are advised that it may take 2 – 3 hours for the full water supply to return after repairs are completed.
