Burst mains disrupting Ros a Mhíl water supply

A burst water main in Ros a Mhíl is disrupting the water supply to the village and surrounding areas of Connemara this afternoon.

Irish Water reported the burst main at Ros a Mhíl at approximately 2:20pm on Thursday afternoon.

Repair works are underway, and currently have an estimated completion time of 5pm this evening.

A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of the works.

People experiencing water outages as a result of this are advised that it may take 2 – 3 hours after repairs are completed for their full water supply to be restored.

Updates can be found on Irish Water’s Supply and Service website page, or by contacting Irish Water’s twitter account @IWCare.
