A burst water main in causing water outages to multiple villages served by the Mid Galway Regional Water Supply Scheme today.

Irish Water and Galway County Council have said that due to a broken mains homes and businesses in Abbeyknockmoy, Monivea, and Kiltullagh may experience water outages today.

The burst mains near Farmhill Reservoir in Abbeyknockmoy were first reported just after 12:30pm today.
