A Loughrea based company will be holding virtual staff recognition awards this week, with family members tuning in from more than 10 countries.

Neylons Facility Management in Loughrea employs over 600 people across its contract services of cleaning, security, catering around the country.

To thank staff who have worked through difficult conditions in the COVID-19 pandemic, the company is holding a staff recognition awards ceremony this Friday.

25 staff members will be receiving a custom designed Badge that is to showcase their hard work and dedication to their jobs throughout 2020.

A lot of our people are from across Europe and we wanted their families this year to see how much they are doing here in both their jobs, with this company and in working consistently throughout this pandemic,” explained Maria Sava Chief Executive Officer.

This company was founded by Sylvester Neylon in 2004 as purely a cleaning company, and has grown massively since then, including an 11% increase in business this year.

In 2014 the company set up they ‘Neylons Academy for Growth’, investing in staff development to encourage skills development for promotion within the company.
