Today’s miserable weather shows no sign of letting up tomorrow, as Met Eireann has issued a another weather warning for the west and north west.
A second status yellow weather warning will be in place through Friday, and lasting into Saturday morning.
Further thunderstorm activity will continue tomorrow, Met Eireann has said, with a risk of hail, which will lead to localised flooding and hazardous driving conditions.
The warning covers all of Connacht and Ulster, as well as north Munster and Leinster. It will be in place from 9am on Friday morning until the same time Saturday.
Galway is currently under a similar thunderstorm warning, which will be in place until 10pm tonight.
Tomorrow’s rain isn’t currently forecast to be as bad as today, but west to southwest winds will pick up strength as the day progresses.
