Galway Daily weather Weather warning for heavy rain in Galway tonight

Galway is expected to get even more rain next week, with a status yellow weather warning issued by Met Eireann for Monday and Tuesday.

The west of Ireland is forecast to receive heavy rain later on Monday and into Tuesday which may cause some river and localised flooding.

The weather warning has been issued for all of Connacht, along with counties Donegal, Clare, and Kerry.

It will come into effect at 2pm on Monday, and remain in place for the next day until the same time Tuesday.

There is also some rain forecast early this afternoon by Met Eireann, but conditions will remain mostly dry and overcast from the mid afternoon onwards.

Temperatures today will average 5 to 6 degrees celsius, with a light to moderate variable wind throughout the day.
