Status yellow weather warning in place until tomorrow morning

Met Éireann has issued a yet another weather warning for Galway which will remain in place until tomorrow morning.

The weather warning for rain is in force now, and will be lifted at 5am tomorrow.

The weather experts say heavy, squally downpours and thunderstorms will bring a risk of spot flooding at times today and tonight.

It will be very windy this afternoon and evening, but there will be a mix of bright, sunny spells too.

Highest temperatures will be 16 to 19 degrees Celsius, in strong and gusty southerly winds.

Tomorrow will be another windy day, with sunny spells and scattered showers. Highest temperatures will be around 18 degrees.
