Galway Daily weather Met Eireann issues fresh weather warning for Galway

Met Éireann has said that sub-zero temperatures across Ireland again tonight could lead to icy roads and possible travel disruption.

A status yellow weather warning for widespread sharp frost with icy stretches is currently in place for Galway and all other counties in the Republic.

The warning will continue overnight and is expected to be lifted at 10am tomorrow, Wednesday.

Lowest temperatures of -3 degrees are forecast for many areas overnight, but it should remain dry in the West after any remaining showers pass.

On Wednesday, frost and ice will slowly clear through the morning, and it will be a cold, dry day with plenty of sunshine.
