Galway Daily courts Man sentenced for Christmas Eve assault in Tuam

TUAM CAMOGIE 

Congratulations to the U12 girls who won the County C Shield Final Against Athenry in a hard fought match in Loughrea. Final Score Athenry 1-1 Tuam 2-2. Well done to all involved.

U12s also took part in the Cáman to Connacht participation Blitz which took place in Pearse Stadium on Saturday, Great mornings camogie by all.

Congratulations to the U10’s great win against Mountbellew/Moylough in the North Board League.

Best of luck to the U8s in their Blitz on Tuesday evening in Skehana.

Training will continue at Tuam Stars Lower pitch from 10am -11.15am, cost per session is €2.00 and don’t forget to bring a water bottle.

 

KILKERRIN UNITED 

U11 boys travelled to Dysart on Friday evening. Sam Nolan, Tiernan Kilmartin & Eoin Morrissey were all on target for Kilkerrin in a most enjoyable game.

U12 boys hosted CP Ajax & Skyvalley Rovers in a 7 aside blitz on Tuesday evening. Kilkerrin lost out 4-1 to CP Ajax despite Cilllian Brennan’s goal and 5-2 to Skyvalley with Luke Walsh & Cillian Brennan both on target.

Well done to all the players who played some excellent football in very difficult weather conditions.

U16 boys lost out 3-1 to Skyvalley Rovers despite Cian Carton’s goal.

U18 boys defeated Dunmore Town 3-0 in their opening outing of the season. Oisín Hynes & Brian McDermott (2) were both on target.

Last week’s RDFL lotto numbers are 2, 6, 14 & 15. There is no jackpot winner. Three match 3 winner’s: Paul Jennings c/o Cloonfad United; Caitlin Cosgrove c/o Cloonfad United; Martin Boyle c/o Kilkerrin United. The next draw is on July 3rd for a jackpot of €13,800.

 

GLEN CELTIC AFC 

Bookings are still open for Glen Celtic Summer camps.  First camp will run 2nd to 6th July and the Second camp will run 13th to 17th August.   All boys and girls MUST be booked on to a camp before the camp starts.   Bookings can be made at www.summersoccerschools.ie OR call 1890 653 653.
