Creggs RFC submits plans for new sports complex

Creggs RFC is seeking planning permission to expand its facilities with the construction of a new sports complex next to the existing pitch.

Plans have been submitted to Galway County Council for the a ‘Sports Complex’ building at The Green, Creggs with a gross floor space of 1,512sqm.

This would include a gymnasium, dressing rooms, club rooms, toilet facilities and a dedicated wastewater treatment system.

Permission is also sought for the retention of the existing developments on site, consisting of an astro turf playing pitch, spectator stand, and flood lighting.

Galway County Council is due to make a decision on this planning application by October 12.
