Athletes across the country are gearing up for Lough Cutra Castle Triathlon and Multisport Festival at the end of next month.
Part of the Castle Race Series, the busy weekend of racing will take place on May 28 and 29.
The event will see athletes swim in Europe’s largest privately owned lake, cycle the stunning scenery of the region, and then return to run on the tracks, trails and woodland of the castle estate.
There will be a number of races for adults and children taking place on the grounds of the castle.
Athletes can embrace their choice of triathlon, duathlon, aquathlon and aquabike races and enjoy the fun festival atmosphere.
The stunning castle which is nestled on the edge of the Burren is a perfect location for the race, which celebrates its 10th Anniversary this year.
There are swim-only and run-only events also on offer throughout the weekend ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.
