Shamrocks were given a serious test of their resolve on Sunday (6th May) in Duggan Park as they held firm despite conceding three goals in as many minutes to clinch the County under 14 A1 camogie title.

Niamh McInerney, Leah O’Halloran and Kate Skelly helped Shamrocks to a 3-2 to 0-2 advantage before Jade Whelton (2) and Emily Miskella wiped out the lead before two McInerney scores and a Ciara McClearn save gave Shamrocks a 3-4 to 3-3 victory over Craughwell.

Shamrocks manager Jim Collins was happy with the way his team kept going and wasn’t suprised that Craughwell made a comeback.  He chatted to Galway Daily afterwards.
