Galway have beaten Armagh to get through to the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-finals.

The Tribesmen snatched victory in the penalties after a match that came right down to the wire.

Shane Walsh, Damien Comer, Rob Finnerty, and Mathew Tierney scored the penalties for Galway, while only Rian O’Neill was able to put one in the net for Armagh.

The score stood at Galway 2-18 to Armagh’s 3-21 after extra time.

Galway will go on to play in the semi-final against the winner of Kerry v Mayo, which is coming up next at Croke Park.
