Neighbourhoods in the Salthill area of Galway City are experiencing water outages today due to a burst water mains.
Residents of Rosary Lane, Rockhill Avenue, Emerson Avenue, Oaklands, Lenaboy Avenue, Monksfield, Salthill Road Lower and surrounding areas may experiences supply disruptions or water outages.
Repairs are underway and are expected to be completed by 3pm this afternoon Irish Water has said.
People affected by this are advised that it may take 2 – 3 hours after work is completed for their full water supply to be restored.
