Galway Daily news Public consultation extended on long term East Galway water supply

Several hundred properties on the east side of Galway City are without a water supply today due to a burst water mains.

Irish Water reported a burst mains on the Monivea Road in Galway City shortly after 8am this morning.

This is causing water outages to homes and businesses on the Doughiska Road, Briarhill, Coolagh, Ardaun, Monivea Road and surrounding areas of the city.
