Traffic disruption is expected on the M17/M18 Gort to Tuam motorway next week due to rolling lane closures in order to install new signage.

On Monday the M17 southbound will be closed at Junction 20 Kilmore (Tuam) from 9:30am – 3:30pm.

Diverted traffic will be signposted back to Junction 19 Annagh Hill to rejoin the M17 Southbound motorway.

On Tuesday, January 19 Junction 20 will be closed once again, and Junction 19 Annagh Hill will also be closed from 9:30am to 3:30pm.

Traffic will be diverted through Claregalway on the N83 and onto Oranmore, taking the M6 back to the M17 M18 Junction at Rathmorrisey.

On Wednesday the M18 northbound will be closed at Junction 16 Gort from 9:30am to 3:30pm. Traffic will be diverted via Ardrahan to rejoin the motorway at Junction 17 Kiltiernan.
