A two day road closure is in place due to roadworks in the Cahermore/Lydacan area which got underway this morning.
Galway County Council is carrying out resurfacing overlay works on the L4509 local road at Cahermore/Lydacan.
In order to facilitate this, the section of road being worked on will be closed from 7:30am to 7pm while work is taking place.
As a consequence, motorists should expect delays and are advised to allow additional time for journeys.
The roadworks are expected to take two days to complete, Monday and Tuesday May 10-11.
