A road closure will in place until Wednesday evening to enable roadworks taking place on a local road north of Loughrea.
Galway County Council is carrying out road surfacing works on the L4301 road between Mullagh Cross and Cloonlahan Brodge today.
The road will be closed to traffic today until 6:30pm in order to facilitate these roadworks.
As a consequence, motorists in the area are advised to expect delays, and to give themselves additional time for journeys.
