The traffic lights at the N84/R334 junction in Headford town are expected to be out of action until next week after being damaged in a traffic accident.
The county council reported that the lights were damaged in an accident overnight between Monday and Tuesday.
Contractors were contacted to make repairs, and it was initially expected that the traffic lights would be working by today.
But the council has said that due to the extent of the damage, they are now expected to remain down until early next week.
Warning signage has been installed, and motorists are advised to drive with additional caution when approaching the junctions.
