The Galway Roscommon Education and Training Board is looking to hire six teachers in Galway this month.
The teaching positions being advertised by the GRETB are a mix of full-time, part-time, and temporary jobs.
The positions available in Galway are as follows.
Coláiste Ghobnait, Inis Oírr:
- English (14.40hrs – Maternity Leave – Immediate start)
Coláiste na Coiribe, Ballymoneen rd, Knocknacarra:
- Business & Enterprise (11hrs)
Colaiste Naomh Éinne, Cill Rónáin, Inis Mór:
- Metalwork (PRPT)
Coláiste na bPiarsach, Rosmuc:
- Irish & Technology (22hrs-Maternity Leave – 03/12/18 – 31/05/19)
The teaching positions named above are all for schools which teach through Irish.
Anyone who wishes to apply must have the Irish requirement as per Circular Letter 21/00 issued by the Department of Education.
One other school in Galway is also looking to fill two temporary teaching positions.
Claregalway College, Clargalway:
- Irish (Maternity Leave)
- Home Economics (Maternity Leave)
In addition to these Galway schools, Abbey Community College in Boyle, Co. Roscommon is looking to hire an Irish teacher to start immediately.
And Castlerea Prison is looking for three teachers in Art & Textiles, Drama, and Spanish.
