Search efforts to locate missing Galway man Stephen Cunningham are continuing today.

The 32 year old man from Ballybrit has been missing since the start of last November.

Stephen is described as being approximately 6′ 2″ in height with a thin build, blue eyes, sandy/blond hair and may have a beard/unshaven.

Gardaí have said that he was he seen at Gannons Filling Station, Belclare, Westport on November 5, and then at Dunnes Stores, Briar Hill, Galway on the 6th.

Both sightings were captured on cctv. Stephen was wearing a waist length cream/ beige hooded jacket, blue jeans and beige shoes.

On November 10, Stephen’s car, Silver Volkswagen Passat, 08G3521, was found at Bunnakill, Maam Cross, Galway, it is believed this car may have been parked in this location since November 7.

Search efforts have continue since last November, and Dunmore McHales GAA has organised people for search efforts on Sunday, focusing on forested areas near Maam Cross.

The club also recently posted a message from Stephen mother thanking people for their efforts to date.
