Ros a Mhíl residents hit by broken water main

Residents of Ros a Mhíl may be without their water this afternoon as repairs are made to a burst water main in the area.

Irish water reported that a water main burst in the Connemara village earlier this afternoon.

The damaged water main may leave residents of the village and surrounding areas without water.

Repairs are being carried out and Irish Water have given an estimated completion time of 6pm this evening.

But it may take up to three hours after they are completed for full supply to be restored to Ros a Mhíl.

If anyone has any issue or question they can contact Irish Water at 1850 448 448 or through twitter @IWCare.
