The road between Spiddal and Inverin has reopened this afternoon following a fatal road traffic collision last night.

A motorcyclist was killed following a two vehicle collision on the R336 between the two villages shortly after 8pm on Saturday.

The motorcylist, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene while the occupants of the car a man and woman in their 20s were taken to hospital as a precaution.
