Motorists are advised that a local road at Labane is closed to traffic today due to roadworks taking place.
Galway County Council is carrying out resurfacing overlay works on the L4511 at Cahertrim, Labane.
In order to facilitate these roadworks, the section of the road in question will be closed until 7pm this evening.
As a consequence, motorists in the area are advised to expect delays and allow additional time for journeys.
The works are only expected to take one day to complete, and no further closures have been notified.
