Woman taken to hospital after three car collision

One woman has been taken to hospital this morning after a multi-car road traffic collision near Craughwell this morning.

Emergency services including fire brigade, ambulance, and gardaí responded to a traffic collision involving three cars at Furey’s Cross which took place at 8:30am this morning.

The road remains partially closed to traffic currently, and is likely to reopen shortly according to gardaí.

One woman has been taken to University Hospital Galway for treatment, though her injuries are not believed to be serious.

No other injuries have been reported at this time.
