One person has lost their life in a road traffic accident which took place near Loughrea this morning.
According to gardaà a single vehicle collision took place at approximately 6:30am on the R353 at Kylemore near Loughrea.
One person has reportedly lost their life in this incident.
Gardaà and emergency services are attending the scene and diversions are in place.
