Athenry Adventurers RPG club is holding a massive fundraising event called in the Raheen Woods Hotel Athenry on Saturday 25 February.
AthVentureCon will be the biggest tabletop roleplaying game convention in Galway to date, with gamers arriving from across Ireland.
There will be talks, panels, workshops, amazing crafters & merchants including Dungeons & Donuts, and so many games available on the day to play for both experienced gamers and beginners.
There are also going to be special guests, including podcasters and creators well known in the Irish TTRPG scene such as HomeBrew Quest, D8 Dungeon, Hearthfire Tales, Penny Dragon Games, Cublicle 7, and Sionnach Games.
Athenry Adventurers RPG Club, which is nearing its one-year anniversary, is affiliated with Youth Work Ireland Galway.
The club has grown and has between 30 and 40 young people coming through the door each week to embark on adventures in fantasy realms, by playing Dungeons & Dragons and other games.
This will be the club’s first big fundraising event. The event is suitable for ages 12 to 112. Tickets are on sale on the website.
