N17 Tuam bypass closing for two days roadworks

The N17 Tuam bypass will be closing in stages for roadworks over the course of two days next week.

Transport Infrastructure Ireland plan to close the Tuam Bypass for next Tuesday and Wednesday for routine maintenance roadworks.

This will be done in two stages, with the northbound carriageway between the roundabouts with the N83 at either end of the bypass closed on Tuesday.

The following day, Wednesday, May 6, this will be repeated for the southbound section.

Both closures will be in place from 8am to 6pm while work is taking place.

During this time traffic will be diverted through Tuam.
