Moycullen supermarket wants to add a gym

Plans have been submitted to convert part of a supermarket in Moycullen to a fitness gym.

John Grealish of McCann Stores Moycullen wants to turn part of his supermarket into a gym and add a new shared emergency exit to the building.

The proposed gym only comprises part of the premises with a floor space of 307m² out of nearly 3,500m² in the property.

Galway county council is due to make a decision on whether to let Mr Grealish build this gym by early February
