Month long roadworks to disrupt Oranmore traffic

Traffic in Oranmore will be disrupted by month long roadworks getting underway on the N67 in the coming weeks.

Galway county council has issued notice that roadworks will be taking place on a 1km section of the N67 starting at the Maldron Hotel roundabout from June 10.

John Maddens and Sons have been contracted by the county council to plane out an reinstate the surface of the road.

The work is expected to take roughly one month to complete according to the county council.

Traffic management will be in place while work is underway.
