Man (21) killed in Galway crash is named

The young man who died in a single-vehicle collision in Galway at the weekend has been named as Adam Galvin from Limerick.

The 21-year-old died in a crash on the N59 in the townland of Corcullen, Moycullen shortly after 2.30am on Sunday morning.

Adam was the sole occupant of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.

He was in his final year of study at recently-established TUS, according to the Limerick Leader.

Adam’s funeral will take place tomorrow morning, Wednesday.
