Local coffee shop celebrates first anniversary by donating proceeds to the Galway Simon Community

The Knocknacarra coffee shop Baby Ground & Co recently celebrated their first year in business with a charity give back to the Galway Simon Community.

For one day in October all proceeds from coffee and tea sales at the Knocknacarra outlet went directly to the Galway Simon Community.

In total, Cian Rafferty and Kevin Nugent of Ground & Co raised €1,350 for the local homelessness charity with the day’s event.

In a post on Facebook they said they were “Delighted to be able to help out those less fortunate in our community here in Galway.”
