Galway Daily news Planning extension grant for Craughwell National School expansion

St. John the Apostle primary school in Knocknacarra has been granted planning permission to build a new school wing.

The Board of Management at the primary school on the Western Distributor Road plans to build a new two storey extension to the existing school building.

The extension will contain four Special Education Teacher rooms at the ground floor, and a multipurpose room on the first floor.

Internal modifications will also be made to the existing school to rearrange SET rooms and admin spaces, as well as adding external doors to ground floor classrooms.

No public submissions were made to Galway city council about this project, and planning permission was granted with three conditions attached.
