24 degrees and sunshine as Junior and Leaving Cert exams start

The Junior and Leaving Certificate exams start tomorrow morning, and as is the case almost every year (or so it seems), there’s some great weather forecast.

Tomorrow morning, as students across Galway walk into the exam centres for English Paper I, the sun will be out and it will already be up to 17 degrees.

As the day progresses, temperatures will reach 24 degrees.

It will be sunniest around 12pm, and it will become gradually cloudier as the day progresses.

As for Thursday, again the sun will be splitting the rocks in the morning as Leaving Cert Engineering students take their exams and everyone else prepares for English Paper II.

Thursday will be another warm and bright day, with highest temperatures of 23 degrees in the afternoon. It should stay sunny throughout the day.

And Friday looks like more of the same – sunny with temperatures in their early twenties.

The weekend could see some rain though, especially on Sunday.
